There is a very literal meaning and that is what I look for and record with my camera. Shadows on the table.
And in this case my reflections? I love the shadows that this very early morning coffee and rolls cast in a small still sleeping town in Cappadocia, Turkey. We were waiting for an all day tour and we were a bit early. The small cafe was modern and bright and the pastry cases were filled with lots of pastry that all looked the same. It seemed that the laminate table top was chosen to match the perfect golden brown of the rolls and the coffee.
The sun was very low.
I think this is also my favorite Morning Coffee photo of 2012.
